What’s Happening at the Library Weekly Event Update

“A Universe of Stories” is the theme of our summer reading program this year!  Everyone from pre-readers through adults is welcome to participate.

6th through 12th graders can make and set off their own Water Rockets on Monday, July 1st at 4:30 p.m. at the library.  Everyone is welcome to come watch the launch at approximately 6:30 p.m.  We will have rockets already made for younger children to launch.  Register by June 24th on Facebook or by calling the library at 765-478-3335.

On Wednesday, July 3rd, the Josesph Moore Museum will present a Space Program at the library at 2:00 p.m.  On Wednesday, July 10th, we will Paint Moon Rocks at 2:00 p.m.  And you don’t want to miss the MAGIC show, “Take Me to Your Reader” on July 17th at 2:00 p.m.,  or the Lincoln Marching Band show on July 24th at 2:00 p.m.

Even if you only read one book, you should still sign up for our Summer Reading Program.  Weekly prizes will be given to readers, and participants may enter drawings for larger prizes after the program concludes on July 31st.  Drawing prizes are available for every age group, and each book you read gives you a chance in a drawing.  The last day to turn in slips for drawings is Wednesday, July 31st.
