What’s Happening at the Library Weekly Event Update

Beginning in April, we are starting a new program called “Paws for Reading.”  Children, grades K-5 can sign up for a 15 minute session to read to a retired guide or therapy dog with the expert guidance of trainer Jill Moore.  When children practice reading with a comforting, patient, non-judgmental canine listener, they can gain confidence and increase their enjoyment of reading time.  Sessions will be on Thursdays at from 3:30 – 4:45pm, beginning Thursday, April 4th.  To sign up for your spot, call the library at 765-478-3335.  A signed waiver is required to participate.

The next Mad Science Explorers’ Club meets Monday, April 1st at 3:30 p.m., topic to be announced.  This event is recommended for 4th – 8th graders.  Sign up for your spot by calling the library at 765-478-3335.
